At Olive Garden and Cappuino Cantinas, the foodservice industry has made an effort to be safe.
The chain has hired an independent lab to conduct quality assurance tests on all of its refrigeration systems.
The company also hired the National Restaurant Association, which has helped the chain raise safety standards for its refrigerators.
Cappuccionas restaurants also employ independent testing companies to conduct inspections.
In a statement, Olive Garden said that “all our refrigeration and ice handling equipment is safe, including our freezers and freezers’ systems.”
